Games to watch –

There’s only one current play-off team that has nothing to play for this week, that team is New England. The Patriots secured both a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs back in Week 15.

However, away from Tom Brady and his team, there’s an array of exciting match-ups in the league this Sunday. Here’s some of the games we think you should be watching!!

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers (NFC North) Game of the week! Both of these 11-4 teams square up for the NFC North title. Green Bay can get the number 1 seed if they win and Seattle lose.

If the Lions win they get the all-important first-round playoff bye, they also get home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. However, only if they win and Arizona and Seattle lose. Detroit just can’t lose basically.
(Important fact – The Lions have lost 23 straight games at Lambeau Field… Eeek!) This is a must see game, don’t miss it!
Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons (NFC South) Yep both these teams are vying for a division title with losing records! The winner of this game will go to the playoffs and will also host a playoff game.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers (AFC North) If Cincinnati win then the Bengals will go into the playoffs as the AFC North champions. However, if Big Ben and those Steelers win then they are division winners. Both teams will get at least a wild-card spot.

San Diego Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs (AFC West) The Chargers, who completed an amazing comeback at San Francisco last week, can confirm a spot in the playoffs if they beat the Chiefs, at Arrowhead. The Chiefs have to beat San Diego to have a hope of getting in the playoffs, but they also need home losses for both Baltimore and Houston. It’s a tough ask..
