Sports Explained

‘Sport Explained’ is the section of the website that takes you girls back to basics.

Explaining and informing you of the facts, the origins, and the rules and regulations of individual sports. The aim in this section is to educate.

Here at Girls Sport Talk, we’ll select mainstream sports that you ladies will soon become at home with, and break them down, accompanied regularly by additional seasonal sports for reference.

Whether it be the run up to the first Formula 1 race of the season or the finals at Wimbledon in July, Girls Sport Talk will take you through ensuring you ladies know the score… (no pun intended)

NFL: American Football

Additional sports will include: Formula 1, Athletics, Boxing, Cycling, and whatever else takes our fancy!

If there are any terms, phrases or ‘sports jargon’ you’re not too sure of, our individual sports specific glossary’s are at hand for you to consult at any given time.

These can be found in the Sports Glossary section of the website, to ensure you stay sports-wise.
